A: I love the livestock shows. It's great to know where your food comes from and gives the kids a chance to be their own producers and watch their animal grow. They start to understand how much it costs and the struggles and positives of raising an animal. Q: What is your favorite non-extension related item?
A: I love how many people you meet at the fair. Dallas County is made up of so many different people, and it's great they can all gather at one place get to know each other! We have great events people can mingle at and go to such as the rodeo or tractor pull.
Mackenzie also said she met not only some of her best friends at the fair... but also her sweetheart.
